It started with the blinking light. The drive lost connection and that's when the trouble began. Usually after a drive dies like this I can access it using various tools. How ever we have another odd issue. Any time the drive is plugged in any program that would other wise access it stops working. This includes explorer. On explorer the drive pops up as d: but I can't right click it, or let windows attempt to analyze it. I can't scan it with any software and driver utilities. If I unplug the device everything refreshes as if nothing is wrong. For example I tried scanning it with malware bytes while searching for viruses. It found the drive but when I told it to do its thing the program stops. I unplug the drive and it starts up again showing that it can scan some files. Management can't find this drive but the seagate utility can but once again stops working while attempting to access. Its like the drive is showing itself but refusing to be fixed.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
